Description The Nav-Care volunteer program pairs volunteers with community members who are dealing with life threatening illness diagnosis and/or progression as well as isolation and frailty due to aging. Our volunteers must have compassion, empathy, an open mind and the ability to commit to a set number of visits depending on the client's needs.
Visits with clients are in various settings including facilities and or client's home. Nav-Care volunteers are like a neighbor who helps a client to navigate the barriers or struggles they may come up against with the progression of disease.
