Position: Volunteers Who Support Health and Wellness
Impact Statement: The Alberta North West Region has been directly servicing Grande Prairie and the surrounding areas since 1995. We strive to help people with mental illness develop the personal tools they need to lead productive and meaningful lives. We are searching for individuals that share the same passion of being champions for mental health and improving the lives of those in our community.
Description: The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for volunteers who are passionate about mental health, and improving the lives of those who suffer from it. We are looking for dedicated, honest, reliable individuals, who wish to lend a hand at our events, around the office, with volunteer recruitment, and coordinating future events.
Training Details: No training requirements necessary, we will guide you! Individuals with First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and/or ASIST certification (or combination of those) are strong assets to the volunteer team, those these credentials are NOT required.
Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Anytime
Age: 18+
