Position: Volunteer Youth Mentor
Description: Be a Mentor!

HIV North's Youth Mentor provides confidential supports to LGTBQ youth, young adults, friends and family of the LGTBQ community. HIV North provides a weekly evening drop-in group for LGTBQ youth and a separate drop-in program for parents of LGTBQ youth.

Volunteer Youth Mentors will assist in the facilitation of the Youth Drop-In Thursday evenings from 7-9pm with various FUN activities such as movie nights, game nights, and collaborative art projects.

A recent and valid CRIM Check, Vulnerable Sector Check and CYIM Check are required. HIV North can provide a letter to obtain the CRIM check free of charge.

Applications are available in-person at 9607 102 Street between the hours of 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday
