Description: Volunteers are needed to help our clients access an adapted computer. We have one person who comes to the office on a regular basis to practice using a head mouse and Dragon Naturally Speaking. She's enhancing her skills, and requires someone to help when she gets stuck. She enjoys conversation and applying what she learns to written documents.
Training Details: orientation and training is provided by SCI Alberta Staff.
Working Conditions: Office Setting, limited lifting of 5 pounds, unsupervised, but support may be available when needed. Equipment is provided.
Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Weekday - Daytime
Time Detail: typically one or two days a week between 1:00 - 4:30 with flexibility
Age: 18+
